Unique Wooden Log Ring Table Centrepieces With Raised Feet

Bring a farmhouse feel to your meals with this rustic table center-piece. The live edge log slices are cut from Western Hemlock, sanded for a smooth finish and keep the unique shape of the tree from which they were cut. They also make great cake stands or bases for planted pots and rock sculptures.
They're handcrafted by Damien Devereux, a determined artisan who is registered blind. All wood is kiln-dried timber, sourced from a local sustainable woodland. Kiln dry wood is much more stable and unlikely to warp or crack as it ages.
Center-pieces come in six different diameters and are approximately 35-40mm tall. The diameters offered are only approximations and will differ depending on the size and shape of the tree. If you require specific sizes then please get in touch. They come with an irregular arrangement of feet to match the shape of the log ring. To ensure their durability for outdoor use, the center-pieces can optionally be treated with either exterior clear oil or a coloured varnish (red cedar, dark oak or ebony) though these will need re-coating once a year with a clear protective coat for longevity.
Splits in the log rings sometimes form during the drying process and these splits have been filled with a clear epoxy resin to ensure stability. The bark is not always present because it sometimes comes loose during construction.
