Engraved Log Ring Coaster

Add some rustic charm to your home with these engraved wooden coasters. These live edge, wood slice coasters are cut from peeled poles at a slight angle to add character and then sanded smooth.

Everything is handcrafted by Damien Devereux who is registered blind, with over 5 years experience as a carpenter. All wood is kiln-dried timber, sourced from a local sustainable woodland. Kiln dry wood is much more stable and unlikely to warp as it ages although some coasters may contain splits from this drying process.

The coasters are about 15mm thick and available in three different diameters. They are not perfectly round as they follow the shape of the pole from which they are cut making them great for home decor or rustic wedding decor. They retain the natural colour of the wood with a clear danish oil or can be stained Red Cedar or Dark Oak to match your existing style. They can also be left untreated if you prefer. All engraving is done by hand with a pyrography tool for a personal and rustic finish.
